Chris Kramer was born on May 14, 1975 in Canada. As a child, he and his family moved around a lot. They later chose to settle in Calgary where he grew up. He was 21 years old when he joined The Company of Rogues Acting Studio, which led him to obtain several acting jobs. In 2000, Chris landed the part of Alex in the film See Bob Run. Before he made his movie debut there, he was already seen on episodes of Honey,I Shrunk the Kids:The TV Show. This was followed by a role in shows like First Wave, Seven Days and Dark Angel. In 2002 he was cast as Lyle in two episodes of Just Cause. Later on, he appeared in The Twilight Zone and on Stargate SG-1. He later portrayed a character named Tony in the Chris Isaac Show, after he was chosen to play Ben Sheffield in the TV production Cable Beach. Other appearances of his include those in Century City, The Ranch, The Dead Zone and in the films Captive Hearts and Stranger in my Bed. From 2004 to 2006 Kramer rose to fame portraying the lead character Morgan Pym on The Collector. For his performance he was nominated for two Leo Awards in 2004 and 2005, in the category for Best Lead Performance by a Male in a Dramatic Series. After The Collector, Chris continued his string of appearances on television. He was seen on Circle of Friends, Her Fatal Flaw and on the hit series 24. He later got a role on Saving Grace and Afghan Nights, both in 2007. The next year he joined the cast of the CBS series Jericho, where he played the role of Chavez.
