Over 30% of the Earth's surface is covered with forests. They harbour over 2/3 of known terrestrial species and the largest share of threatened ones. Forests come in all sizes and types-from the forests of arid regions to the rainforests of the humid tropics. The Prince's Rainforest Project, which was setup in 2007 by The Prince of Wales, promotes the need to take action against tropical deforestation. The process is as simple as possible because there are only 4 fields to complete. However, by visiting the official site, you can select a number of pledges to show how you will support the project and you can also add you own voice to the campaign!
