This is a foto shoot of Britney for Allure Magazine, taken in 2007 after her divorce with Kevin Federline. Spears had to evade paparazzi the last time she was making a foto shooting for the same magazine, but at this shoot , 20 cars trailed her black Mercedes as she pulled up. The singer took off her own long, honey blonde wig, choosing a shoulder-lenght brown wig, as well as a Cartier bracelet and her own Dolce&Gabbana jeans. Apparently, she felt very comfortable with Michael Thompson and Paul Cavaco-the Allure's Creative Director-both of them shot her several times before. "I wanted to capture the free spirit Britney, so I photographed her on the floor and let her do what she wanted", Thompson said. The singer chose to pose topless, opting to wear her own jewelry. "She was into smoky eyes-every girl is," Reiss-Andersen said. "We made it fresh as opposed to aggressively sexy-because she's young and that's important to show." But, as it turned out, Britney never sat for her promised interview with the magazine. The cover story then turned into a first-person essay from the interviewer, Judith Newman, detailing her frustrations with Britney's invariable cancellations and delays.
